In this roundtable, philosopher Michael Marder and artist Anaïs Tondeur share their encounters with nine plant communities growing in the Terra dei Fuochi, a vast site of ecocide in southern Italy. Amid landfills transformed into an open-air photographic laboratory and a space for correspondence, they weave intimate connections with these manifestations of ecological vitality growing amidst the ruins of our societies, industries and landscapes.
